Schär, the global leader in gluten-free nutrition, has revamped its global brand identity in line with its new positioning to connect with consumers in a more contemporary and emotional way while improving the shopper navigation of the portfolio.

Dr. Schär has announced a new partnership with gluten-free bakery Panista in Germany and Austria, which will see the global gluten-free leader partner with the online bakery to complement its wide range of freshly baked free-from bread.

The origins of cereal cultivation are at least 9000 years old. In alternating phases, throughout history, different types of crops have been favoured, depending on their yield and commercial potential.

Postal, 10.10.2019. Dr. Schär, European market leader for gluten free nutrition and dietetic foods, is further expanding its international partnerships with two new branches in Argentina and Turkey. The aim of the manufacturer is to establish the Schär subsidiary brand in the premium segment of these markets and at the same time to create new important sales markets for its products.

Dr. Schär and its partners have presented the findings of the Re-Cereal research project at the AREA Science Park in Trieste. Around 100 representatives of international coeliac disease associations, journalists and nutritional specialists participated in the final conference held from 21 to 22 March. The goal of the research is to revive the cultivation of the cereals and pseudo cereals in the alpine region, study high-performance varieties and develop gluten-free foods.

Dr. Schär has signed an agreement on a strategic alliance with the Finnish company Raisio.
Raisio is a forerunner in cholesterol-lowering functional foods and an innovative expert in Finnish oats. Combined expertise of the companies opens new commercial opportunities for both.
