The Dr. Schär Nutrition Service Team is delighted to announce it has updated its first and second-line dietary advice booklets for use with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) patients. The booklets form part of our IBS resource offering and we are committed to ensuring that these are regularly updated to reflect the latest evidence-based guidance and food lists.

Both booklets have been peer-reviewed by expert independent dietitians specialising in the area of IBS. 
Healthy Eating & Lifestyle Advice in IBS- this first-line booklet covers healthy-eating advice, specific dietary considerations, probiotics, lifestyle advice and persisting symptoms.
Low FODMAP Diet in IBS- this second-line booklet provides an explanation of FODMAPs and how they might affect gut symptoms, an overview of the low FODMAP diet including handy tips and a section to record the results of food challenges.
