1. No Purchase Necessary. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY to enter or win the Dr. Schar USA Give-Away (the “Give-Away”). This Give-Away is being conducted by Dr. Schar U.S.A., Inc. of 125 Chubb Ave; Lyndhurst, NJ 07071 (“Dr. Schar”). A copy of these Rules may be obtained by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to Dr. Schar at above address by July 31, 2021.
2. Time Period and Eligibility. The Give-Away will begin at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time (ET) on June 21, 2021 and end at 11:59 p.m. ET on August 3, 2021 (the “Give-Away Period”). The Give-Away is open only to US Residents 18 years of age or older at the time of the entry. This Give-Away is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and void in Canada, Quebec, Puerto Rico and otherwise where prohibited.
3. How to Enter the Give-Away. To enter, during the applicable Give-Away Period, an eligible entrant must navigate to https://registration.spenut.com/summer-schoolnutrition/ and fill in his or her name, email address, and otherwise complete the Registration Form for each of the three (3) sessions and attend all sessions being held on July 20th, 2021 at 3:00 PM EST, July 27th, 2021 at 10:00 AM EST and August 3rd, 2021 at 3:00 PM EST. Limit one (1) entry per person, and per valid email address. All entries become the property of Dr. Schar. No entries will be accepted by Dr. Schar after close of the Give-Away Period. All entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and Dr. Schar’s determinations which in all instances shall be final. By entering, each entrant agrees to release Dr. Schar from all liability relating to this Give-Away, or participation in it.
4. Odds of Winning, Selection of Winners, and Prizes. A random drawing will occur by Dr. Schar on or about the close of the Give-Away Period at 125 Chubb Ave; Lyndhurst, NJ 07071 from among all eligible entries that have been received. Three (3) prize winners will be selected in total. Alternate winners will be selected at the same time. Limit 1 prize per person. Odds of winning depend upon number of eligible entries received. The prize winner will receive 1 (one) Kitchen Set prize. Total approximate value of the prize is US $500. Dr. Schar reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its discretion. No cash substitution or transfer of prize by prize winner will be permitted. All federal, state, and local taxes are the responsibility of the prize winner. Prize winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and/or provide social security number as necessary at Dr. Schar’s option as a condition to receiving prize within three (3) days from the date of contact from Dr. Schar. Please allow 4-6 weeks after winner notification and validation for delivery of prize.
5. Prize Notification and Award. The prize winner will be notified by email that he/she is the selected winner. If the winner has not responded back to Dr. Schar within 2 business days, or if any prize notification or email communication is returned as non-deliverable or the winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with these Rules, disqualification may result and the prize will be awarded to a selected alternate. Dr. Schar, it’s parent and affiliates, and their advertising and promotional agencies, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or any other social media site, will not be responsible for any liability or any injury, loss or damage of any kind to or of any person or property (including, without limitation, death of any person), arising in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the failure to claim any prize, or for the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a prize, participation in any Give-Away-related activity, or participation in the Give-Away. The limited warranty, if any that accompanies any prize awarded will be the sole remedy available to the prize winners regarding any prize that is provided in connection with the Give-Away.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Dr. Schar is not responsible for: (i) electronic transmission or entries that are lost, late, stolen, incomplete, illegible, damaged, garbled, destroyed, misdirected, or not received by Dr. Schar for any reason; (ii) any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries, or for deletion, theft, or destruction of, unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (iii) failed or unavailable hardware, network, or software; (iv) causes beyond Dr Schar’s reasonable control that jeopardize the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Giveaway; (v) incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by entrants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway; (vi) any typographical or other error in any printing or advertising relating to the Giveaway, in the administration or execution of the Giveaway, or in the announcement of the prize winners; or (vii) cheating or fraud by any entrant. All incomplete or non-conforming entries will be disqualified.
6. Right to Cancel or Suspend Give-Away. If for any reason the Giveaway cannot be executed as planned, including but not limited to any printing, administrative, human, or other error of any kind, transmission failure, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of Dr. Schar that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the Giveaway, or if the Giveaway is compromised or becomes corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, Dr. Schar reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Giveaway without notice. Dr. Schar reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and/or to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Give-Away and randomly select the winners from valid entries received that are unaffected by the problem, if any.
7. Prize Winners List. For the name of the Give-Away prize winner, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Dr. Schar at 125 Chubb Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071 before September 4th, 2021.
