Protecting pollinators is one of the goals the United Nations has set itself in order to nurture biodiversity and ensure that everyone has access to adequate food resources, now and in the future.

With the aim of actively contributing to this goal, Dr. Schär has installed sensorized beehives at its buckwheat value chain (“filiera”) in Poland. Through the sensors contained in the hive and the corresponding interface, which can be seen below, it is possible to check real-time data on the number of flights, hive weight and internal temperature.

With timely data collection, we ensure an important knowledge base for measuring the benefits of our sustainable farming policies.
