Alternative fertilizers

More strength for the fields, higher yields for farmers

Cutting-edge trials

As part of our agricultural innovation journey, we are exploring new opportunities in the field of fertilization, with the goal of optimizing resources, increasing crop resilience, and potentially boosting productivity.

Experiments with alternative fertilization techniques began on a small scale and, over the course of a few years, progressed to open-field trials. Since 2022, they have focused on sorghum, with millet added in 2024 and buckwheat in 2026. The initial results are promising and indicate a potential increase in yield that, in the future, could reduce the number of hectares needed for cultivation, making production more efficient in terms of land use.
