Looking towards a sustainable future

The sun at the heart of our facilities

Climate change is profoundly transforming our present, pushing us to make new conscious choices. We have embraced this challenge responsibly, focusing on solar energy: the sun powers the work in our facilities and, thanks to photovoltaic panels, is transformed into clean energy that reduces emissions and protects the planet’s resources. Today, we use green electricity wherever possible and are gradually extending this approach to other sites. We believe that every contribution matters and that innovation, when guided by responsibility and care for people, can truly make a difference. A concrete commitment that guides us in seeding a better world.

Our photovoltaic park

In many of our facilities, solar energy is no longer just a project but rather a tangible reality. In Germany, at Apolda and Dreihausen, part of the energy we use is produced by photovoltaic panels.
In Italy, the sites in Laives, Postal and Borgo Valsugana are charting a path towards renewable energy: a best-practice model that we aim to gradually extend to all our sites.

In Spain, the Alagón site already covers part of its energy needs thanks to the sun. From 2026, the Klagenfurt facility in Austria will also embark on this journey.

A transition that transforms each facility into a sustainable microcosm, where innovation, environmental responsibility and productivity coexist in balance.
