For us, 2025 was a year of concrete steps, forward-looking decisions and investments that strengthened our journey. Every day, we transformed ideas into products and consolidated our brands, aware that quality and innovation stem from constant attention and shared passion.

We closed the year with a global turnover of €632 million, up 1.3% from €624 million in 2024. This result reflects our consistent commitment across the entire value chain, from research and product development through to production and distribution. Our guiding principle throughout this journey is high-quality specialised nutrition: Schär leads the gluten-free segment and is complemented by lines such as Flavis, dedicated to low-protein products, and Kanso, designed for therapeutic ketogenic diets.

“The international landscape continues to be marked by significant complexity, volatility in raw material costs and an ever-evolving geopolitical context - comments Hannes Berger, CEO of Dr. Schär - In this scenario, our 2025 performance reflects the robustness of a model built over time, capable of supporting steady and responsible growth. The challenges we face further strengthen our determination to invest in innovation, quality and a strong presence in our markets.”

With our focus and energy already directed towards 2026, our most significant milestones of the year were as follows:

  • We celebrated ten years of presence in France and Austria, completed the transition of the Semper portfolio to Schär in Scandinavia and opened a new office in Stockholm, strengthening local expertise and building lasting relationships in key markets.
  • On the industrial front, in 2025 we invested €8.8 million to improve production and logistics efficiency, and for 2026 we plan an additional €28 million to further enhance production capacity in Italy, Spain and Germany.
  • Our journey toward sustainability continues. In 2025, we completed the transition to using only cage-free eggs, at the start of 2026 our German sites in Dreihausen and Apolda adopted certified renewable electricity, and during the year we will install photovoltaic panels in Klagenfurt (Austria), consolidating an increasingly sustainable operational model.

For us, growth means building a story of quality, innovation and sustainability day by day, alongside our people, our communities and our consumers.
