Non-coeliac wheat sensitivity (NCWS) has come to be recognised widely as a condition distinct from coeliac disease and wheat allergy, as a number of clinical trials and translational studies have begun to validate the condition, characterise its symptom profile, and offer insights into potential molecular triggers, pathogenic mechanism, and biomarkers.
