Head office of Dr. Schär Deutschland GmbH. The gateway to the central and northern European markets since 2006. Production facility for gluten-free pastry specialities including savoury varieties that are in high demand in the British market.

Production facility focussing on gluten-free bread and bread substitute products. The foundation of the production facility in Apolda in 2006 went hand in hand with the foundation of the head office of the German subsidiary, Dr. Schär Deutschland GmbH, in Dreihausen. Both locations were designed to help the Burgstall production facility cope with the increasing demand. The creation of the locations was also motivated by the basic principle of decentralised production closer to the market.
