Area Science ParkSince 2003, our flagship Research and Development department has been located in Trieste's Area Science Park, the leading multisector science and technology park in Italy. The park provides an extremely stimulating environment and in its two campuses are home to almost 90 companies and research institutes, and more than 2400 researchers and managers. | StaffThe Dr.Schär R&D Centre boasts a staff of highly qualified researchers, most of whom hold degrees in Food Science and Technology and have a wealth of experience in research and development. With their flexibility and knowledge of various foreign languages, our researchers are used to travelling around and communicating their findings in a wide range of situations, from universities and research centres to production locations in Europe and in the USA. | StructureThe Dr.Schär R&D Centre has cutting edge facilities, spread over a total area of 240 m2 made up of laboratories and offices, with specialised tools for analytical activities and for turning their laboratory prototypes into reality.
